Health Merchandiser - Johannesburg South

What the job is
Dis-Chem Pharmacies needs a Health Merchandiser to work in their stores in Johannesburg South, Gauteng. Your job is to make sure the store looks good and products are easy to find. You will also help customers and keep the store tidy.

What you will do
- Restock products when needed.
- Make sure products are stored and displayed in the right place.
- Keep shelves fully stocked with all products.
- Rotate stock so older items are sold first.
- Help count stock during stocktaking.
- Keep shelves neat and products easy to see with correct labels and prices.
- Build and maintain product displays.
- Keep the store clean and tidy, including storage areas.
- Help with backroom tasks.
- Answer customer questions about products.

What you need
- Finished high school (Grade 12/Matric).
- Up to 6 months of retail experience.
- Can use a computer (MS Office).
- Willing to work retail hours.
- Good at speaking English.
- Neat and presentable.
- Good at talking to customers, managers, and staff.
- Honest and reliable.
- Good at managing time.

Nice to have
- Diploma or degree in health-related field.
- 1 year or more of retail experience.
- Speak more than one language.
- Know about merchandising and fast-moving consumer goods.
- Know about products and categories.
- Can read and understand stock reports.
- Can use SAP and Unisolv.

Other requirements
- Must be able to work retail hours.
- Must be fit to lift and move heavy boxes.
- Must have reliable transport or live near the store.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must have clear credit and criminal records.
