Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our busy beach café team.

This is a varied role covering waiting, customer service, cleaning and kitchen porter duties. We’re looking for one full-time weekday team member or two part-time members to share the hours.

Duties

  • Serving customers and taking food and drink orders
  • Clearing and cleaning tables
  • Washing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
  • Keeping the kitchen and café clean and tidy
  • Restocking drinks, crockery, cutlery and supplies
  • Taking rubbish out and maintaining clean work areas
  • Supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy periods
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Helping wherever needed to keep the café running efficiently
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Hardworking and willing to get stuck in
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Good team player
  • High standards of cleanliness
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential — training can be provided

Weekday availability is essential.

We are looking for either:

  • 1 full-time team member to cover the weekday hours, or
  • 2 part-time team members who can share the weekday hours.

There may also be opportunities for additional hours during particularly busy periods.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 37.5 per week

  • Kitchen Porter: 1 year (preferred)
