Manager, Reporting and Financial Data Governance

Job Description:

Own financial master data and reporting structures, including chart of accounts, entities, cost centers, projects and reporting hierarchies
Define and maintain common financial data definitions and reporting attributes
Review and approve changes to financial master data and reporting structures
Partner with Accounting, FP&A, financial reporting, IT and Microsoft stakeholders on reporting requirements, organizational changes and system initiatives
Investigate and resolve data, hierarchy, mapping and reporting issues
Support corporate reporting processes, including Transmit, through maintenance and validation of reporting structures, mappings and underlying financial data
Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting, reporting requirements, company policies and internal controls
Drive process improvement within assigned areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field
8+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, finance systems, or related finance functions
Experience supporting accounting close, financial reporting, management reporting or finance transformation initiatives
Experience working with financial master data, reporting structures and hierarchies, or finance systems
Strong understanding of financial reporting, financial data structures, reporting hierarchies, and how financial data is used across reporting, planning and business processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to investigate and resolve complex data and reporting issues
Ability to balance business requirements with standardization, consistency and control objectives
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
CPA preferred but not required
Experience with Oracle, PowerBI, SmartView, or similar tools is a plus
