Pizza & Pasta Chef – Part-Time Evening
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pizza & Pasta Chef to join our team as a part-time evening specialist. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in the assembly of ingredients, toppings, sauces, and garnishes for menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring presentation quality
- Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of pizza and pasta preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in meal prep and serving
