Supreme Court of India Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2026

The Supreme Court of India invites online applications for preparation of a panel to fill 250 tentative vacancies of Junior Court Assistant (Group-B, Non-Gazetted), Level-6 of Pay Matrix with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 35,400/- plus allowances. Eligibility is a Bachelor's degree with computer typing speed of 35 w.p.m., age 18-30 years as on 01.09.2026 (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/freedom-fighter dependents; no upper limit for departmental Registry candidates). Selection runs through four stages — Objective Type Test, Typing Speed Test, Written Descriptive Test and Interview — with shortlisting ratios of 1:10 and 1:3 against tentative vacancies. The Objective Type Test is held across 131 cities nationwide (Annexure-A), while the Typing Test, Written Test and Interview are held in Delhi/NCR.
