Toolroom Team Leader – Automotive Stamping - Pretoria

Our client is seeking an experienced Toolroom Team Leader to lead a tooling maintenance team within a high-volume automotive stamping environment, ensuring tooling availability, production continuity and effective maintenance.

Requirements

• Relevant Tool, Jig & Die, Millwright or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in sheet metal stamping.
• 3–5 years' experience managing/leading a tooling department.
• Strong experience with progressive and transfer tooling.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM and technical drawings.
• Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, IATF/ISO standards and continuous improvement.
• Computer literate – MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership, planning and people-management skills.
