JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable individual who can join our Warehouse Department to improve production and help us grow as a company. In this role, you will manage physical inventory, supply active production lines, load finished goods for shipment. Your primary duties will focus on operating material handling equipment, tracking stock via computer systems, and maintaining strict safety standards to keep our production floor running smoothly.
YOUR IMPACT (Key Job Responsibilities)
- Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, and material handling tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety regulations and PPE use guidelines.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against purchase orders and documentation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Note: This position takes place primarily in a warehouse environment which can experience a variety of temperatures, but are primarily subject to the temperature outside.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Basic computer system application knowledge.
- Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards and proper PPE use.
- Mechanical aptitude or construction experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
